I’m so sorry Ashley! I’m a 4 yr survivor of BC and in Novemer, (my 4 yr anniversary) I was diagnosed with Metastatic BC. I’ve been doing well with chemo, but this week got a terrible virus and have been sick going on 5 days. I’m miserable and I feel for you. I’ll keep you in my prayers!

Ashley, I’ve been reading your blog for sometime now but this is my first time submitting a comment. My mom was diagnosed on Feb. 2012 just like you, i believe, and it has been a roller coaster year, to say the least. I have been my mom’s full-time caretaker and would live to chat with you about what’s worked and what hasn’t worked for her and would love to hear the same from you if you’re up for it. My mom and I are Catholic and we have prayed the rosary every night without fail since her diagnosis and it has done wonders. We will include you in our prayers. Stay focused on the goal, not on the status quo and before you know it you’ll have reached your goal (I know, easy for me to say). Believe wholeheartedly in miracles because with God’s will they absolutely do come true!
I know it’s hard to remember that you will be feeling spunky again soon, but you are heading in that direction…almost there!!! I will be sending you positive energy from my yoga class today. Namaste!!
My thoughts and prayers are with you Ashley as they are every day, I do hope you will soon be feeling better and by the way we share the same birthday but I am a few years ahead of you, diagnosed 17 months age with mets to the liver and nodes I did have a six month break which was fantastic last month scan showed spreading so it is back to folfirinox.
