Thank you all for your prayers Ashley has been out of surgery for l 24 hr noe and is doing good but still in lots of pain. She is talking and telling me what to do again ha ha so she is better. Surgery went well the surgeon was able to remove all of the cystic mass in her stomach, about 3 large masses in her pelvic area. Thank god her liver was clear but they could not remove the spleen or the mass on her pancreas due to the risk of not surviving. She had about 3′ of her small intestine removed due to 1000 of nodules of cancer. She had to have the Duodenum bypassed due to the mass in the pancreas. She also had a hand full other pluming diversions done. After all that if that wasn’t enough my wife received Hipec. This is the hot chemo that will hopefully kill all the other cancer in the stomach. She also got a huge dose of Systemic chemotherapy. These are just the items off the top of my head. She is so strong and in the past 2 years I have learned that she is one tough girl. I look up to her so much and realize that the will to live is and will always be the most Aggressive therapy you can have Besides the love and support from everyones and the faith that there is something bigger than all of us at work. This had been a hard road for us and it make you question things in life. But it is how you respond to life’s challenges that helps you. Ashly has alway thought there was a reason for this and that believing in god and praying would get her through this. I on the other hand pulled away and thought you had to do it on your own and make your path in life and this was just bad luck and if there was a god than this should not happen. But I know now that it’s both. God is all around us and works though us he has made me stronger than i could have ever imagined for ashley. With that being said having all this support from everyone in Ashleys huge family of supporters no matter how small is god at work though Ashley. She has inspired so many of us to never give up and always believe that the impossible is alway possible.
Thank you and may god make you stronger for your life’s challenges.
