Ashley is still doing great in ICU, she is just achy all over her body. We finally got her down to about a 10 mg dose of Dilaudid per hour and a 35 mg dose per hour of ketamine. The ketamine drug is not something the ICU nurses and doctors ever use so they have been really conservative. This is because they don’t know what to expect. We have had amazing results with this drug so far. Not a common case because most people who are at these dosages are at end stage of life. This drug has been around for sometime but this is a fairly new use for it. So there is no set way to do this. The hurricane we were in has subsided and the 300 mpg winds are calming down slowly. Ashley has been talking up a storm and this experience has brought us closer together than ever. I love her so much and would do anything for my girl. These are some of the songs that come to mind when thinking about Ash.
(Not country but fits ashley)
